Bid Operations Manager - LMV Switchgear Position Overview The Bid Operations Manager will oversee a team of Bid Coordinators responsible for managing quotation requests for low and medium voltage switchgear. This role ensures timely, accurate, and competitive bids are delivered to support the Electrical Infrastructure Sales (EIS) team and channel partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical acumen, and process management skills to drive efficiency and excellence in bid operations. Bid Operations Manager - - LMV Switchgear This position will be remote in the continental US Role Description • Lead and mentor a team of Bid Coordinators, providing guidance on bid strategy, workload prioritization, and technical accuracy. • Oversee the triage and delegation of incoming bid requests to ensure timely responses. • Facilitate regular bid strategy meetings and ensure alignment with sales objectives. • Monitor bid pipeline and performance metrics; implement improvements to increase win rates and throughput. • Ensure compliance with internal pricing guidelines, technical standards, and local electrical codes. • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to resolve complex bid requirements. • Drive continuous improvement in bid tools, templates, and processes. • Support training and development of team members to enhance technical and commercial capabilities. • Monitor team performance metrics and provide regular feedback and development plans. • Present regular updates on metrics to Sales Support Manager • Provide full contingency support in absence of Sales Support Manager to include report generation/report out for business unit You will win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic qualifications • BS • 5+ years of experience in electrical equipment sales, estimating, or bid management. • 5+ years of strong knowledge of switchgear, electrical distribution systems, and quotation tools. • The ability to travel domestically 20% Preferred qualifications: • Leadership experience in a technical or sales support environment. • Proficiency with Salesforce and internal pricing/configuration tools. • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $153,720 and is eligible for 20% Annual Incentive.
