Job Description: Your Impact in This Role The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all inbound and outbound transportation, distribution, and logistics operations across the cluster. This role ensures cost-effective, compliant, and service-driven execution of logistics activities supporting both suppliers and customers. The position aligns transportation planning with production, inventory, and customer requirements while driving efficiency and continuous improvement. In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Lead end-to-end logistics operations for inbound and outbound shipments Plan and optimize transportation modes (rail, truck, intermodal, ocean) Manage carrier relationships and performance Coordinate shipment scheduling and tracking Oversee export logistics and customs compliance Monitor and control logistics costs Ensure accurate documentation and system data Drive continuous improvement initiatives Ownership of transportation and logistics cost performance Responsible for cost efficiency and budget adherence Supports cost savings initiatives Oversee logistics coordinators, specialists or planners Provides functional leadership across logistics activities What you bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field OR equivalent experience 5-8 years’ experience in rail, truck transportation and logistics management 2-5 years DOT compliance specific experience 2-4 years of direct people management experience SAP experience a plus .
