This is a remote position. About the Opportunity We’re building a pipeline of Salesforce Developers for an upcoming remote role focused on API-driven integrations and scalable platform development. You’ll design well-architected solutions in Apex/LWC and lead integrations between Salesforce and external systems using modern auth, eventing, and CI/CD practices. You’ll partner closely with Admins, Product/IT, RevOps, and Security to deliver reliable, secure, and performant outcomes. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain Apex (classes, triggers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and platform automation. Own integrations leveraging REST/SOAP, Bulk API v2, Platform Events/Streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), Webhooks, Named Credentials, External Services, and OAuth 2.0/JWT. Translate business requirements into robust data models and configurations aligned with sharing/security and governor limits. Implement unit/integration tests (target 85%+ coverage) and clear technical documentation. Use SFDX and Git-based workflows with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Bitbucket) for reliable deployments. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize SOQL/async usage (Queueable/Future/Batch), and support secure data migrations (Data Loader/Bulk API). Collaborate cross-functionally to plan releases, validate designs, and uphold best practices. Work Environment Remote-first (U.S.) with collaborative core hours; flexible across time zones. Requirements Qualifications 3+ years hands-on Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows). 2+ years designing and delivering API-based integrations between Salesforce and external systems. Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0/JWT, error handling/retry patterns, and async processing (Queueable, Future, Batch Apex). Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud; solid grasp of profiles, permission sets, and record sharing. Proficiency with SFDX, Git, and automated deployments/CI-CD. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I required (or equivalent experience); Platform Developer II preferred. Preferred but not required: Middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Informatica) or microservices on AWS/Azure/GCP; Experience Cloud, CPQ, or enterprise data models.
