Manage client relationships with university music and performing arts programs to drive recruitment success and ensure client satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and messaging guidance.
2-3+ years SaaS account management or client success experience, strong relationship skills with university staff, messaging expertise, and organizational ability.
Client Success & Account Executive – Higher Education Performing Arts Programs About the Role We’re looking for a client success and account management maestro who enjoys building, problem-solving, guiding clients to success, and helping them see real results. The clients in this segment of our business are primarily university music departments, marching bands, and performing arts organizations. You will work with music faculty and staff to support their recruitment and outreach goals, to establish Musicwindow as a natural extension of their program. This is not a reactive customer service role. You’ll be our clients’ trusted advisor, helping them define what success looks like, uncover challenges, and move forward with a clear plan. Your work ensures they feel confident, supported, and motivated to continue with us year after year. What You’ll Do • Guide Client Success: Partner with music department chairs, band directors, and administrators to understand their goals and the associated challenges, ask smart questions, and create roadmaps that fit their recruiting needs. • Support Recruitment and Marketing Success: Help clients make the most of the Musicwindow platform to reach prospective students, capture interest, and convert leads into enrollments. • Own Client Relationships: Build lasting trust and ensure clients see steady progress, even when circumstances change—whether it’s new stakeholders, competing tools, or the challenges of limited time and resources. • Prioritize & Stay Efficient: Juggle multiple client accounts, manage deadlines, and use tools (including AI where appropriate) to stay productive. • Advise & Encourage: Lead conversations in a way that helps clients ask better questions, make stronger decisions, and move toward real outcomes. • Messaging Strategy: Guide clients on crafting compelling headlines, copy, SMS, and email messaging that drives action from prospective students. Even the best marketing software will underperform if the words inside it are weak. Since most music programs lack this skill, you’ll play a critical role in bridging that gap and ensuring campaigns achieve measurable results. • Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with Musicwindow’s production and support teams to turn each client’s vision into reality—bridging the gap between what they imagine and what actually gets implemented. • Spot & Share Success: Recognize when clients achieve wins and invite them to serve as case studies or references, helping feed great stories and proof points to our marketing team. What You Bring • 2–3+ years of SaaS account management or client success experience (or related experience working directly with clients). • Confidence building relationships with university leaders, faculty, and staff - and the ability to speak with them as peers. • Ability to learn our marketing SaaS platform quickly and connect it to a client’s recruiting strategy. • A proactive, problem-solving approach - you don’t just wait for requests, you look for problems and help clients uncover what they really need. • Strong organizational skills to balance multiple accounts and priorities. • Strong messaging instincts: Experience crafting written messaging that sparks action - ensuring our clients’ campaigns actually perform. • AI prompting skills (Nice to Have): Experience crafting effective prompts for AI tools is a plus, especially as we help clients set up recruiting bots. • Light marketing experience (Nice to Have): Ability to review deliverables with a critical eye, ensuring messaging, design, and workflows meet high standards before clients ever see them. Why This Role Matters Our clients work with finite financial and staff resources. They are typically small organizations who dream they could deploy the same caliber of technology and marketing as a Fortune 500 company. This is why they rely on Musicwindow to help them recruit the next generation of music students. Your role is to make sure clients achieve real results in a way that is low-lift for them. When clients feel confident in their progress, continuing with Musicwindow becomes the obvious choice. This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making an impact. If you’re excited about working closely with university music and performing arts programs and helping them succeed, we’d love to hear from you. Job-Type: Full-Time 30-35 Hours per week Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
