Lead program development, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and develop teams within a healthcare partnership.
Requires 5-7 years in healthcare administrative or program management, with a relevant degree such as MBA or MHA, and experience in rehabilitation services in an academic hospital setting.
The Executive Director Will • Promotes and holds accountability for all activities of the PMR Program Together with Medical Director, . • Leads extensive program development for acute medical/surgical, inpatient acute, outpatient, any future services of the partnership; • Manages budget development and variance analysis • Manages financial and material resources within the approved budget; • Ensures Program compliance with regularity and accrediting agencies; • Monitors and analyzes financial operations and devising proactive strategies to ensure favorable financial performance; • Develops, implements and manages referral promotion and marketing plan, specific to SRALAB at the Partnership; • Successfully collaborates with and leadership of the relationship with Loyola University Health System. • Selects and manages selection of key staff for each service line level of care; programs, and sites of care; • Identification of appropriate skill mix and staffing plans for each service line, program, and site of care; • Education of allied health staff; • Staff development and performance evaluation • Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of SRALAB. • Develops effective teams and working relationships with all colleagues, staff, and constituencies of SRALAB, Partner, and of the SRALAB/Partner relationship. • Understands and upholds shared leadership with the Medical Director. • In coordination with the Medical Director, manages all management staff, nursing staff and allied health staff. Reporting Relationships • Reports directly to the COO & Senior Vice President, SRALAB Corporate Partnerships and to the Partnership Executive Designee. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required • Bachelor's Degree and MBA, MHA, MM or related degree; • Five to seven years of healthcare administrative or program management responsibilities; • Analytical ability to design, implement and operate a continuum of rehabilitation services that spans multiple levels of care and various geographies; • Experience in rehabilitation service delivery in an academic hospital setting is preferred; • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary in order to interface effectively with all constituency groups and colleagues Working Conditions • Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
