About the role We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a strategic technical leader within complex enterprise sales cycles. This role blends technical depth with commercial ownership — partnering closely with Sales to drive evaluation strategy, shape technical narratives, and win competitive opportunities. You will act as the technical quarterback for your deals, leading discovery, architecting API-driven solutions, and ensuring technical validation accelerates deal momentum. This role is well-suited for someone who has built a strong foundation in SaaS pre-sales and is ready to take expanded ownership in high-impact, enterprise environments. What you'll do Deal Strategy: Own the technical strategy for enterprise sales opportunities from discovery through close. Discovery: Lead structured discovery workshops across operational, technical, and executive stakeholders. Architecture: Architect API-based integrations across OMS, WMS, TMS, and carrier ecosystems. Validation: Design and execute evaluation plans that align technical validation with commercial milestones. Presentation: Deliver executive-level demos and presentations that translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes. Proof of Value: Lead POV engagements, including data analysis and ROI storytelling. Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage technical risks that could impact deal progression. Sales Partnership: Partner closely with Sales to influence competitive positioning and maintain deal momentum. Handoffs: Collaborate with Implementation and Professional Services to ensure clean handoffs and executable commitments. Enablement: Contribute to the evolution of pre-sales frameworks, demo strategy, and technical best practices. Enterprise Experience: Proven track record supporting mid-market to enterprise B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-based platforms. Problem Solving: Ability to translate complex operational challenges into structured technical solutions. Communication: Exceptional skills in presenting to both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders. Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret operational data and contribute to building compelling business cases. Drive: High degree of ownership, accountability, and internal drive. Adaptability: Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 6–10 years of related experience in a SaaS environment (Solutions Engineering, Technical Implementation, or Customer Success); or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supply chain, logistics, transportation, or e-commerce infrastructure is strongly preferred. Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic office products (Google Workspace); experience with SaaS platforms in logistics/supply chain (WMS, OMS, TMS, Multi-Carrier Platforms); mastery of APIs and tools like Postman; and a demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Language Skills: Ability to read/interpret technical documents and write professional correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or coworkers, High degree of ownership, accountability, and internal drive.
