The mission of the GTM & Customer team at Shiftsmart is to build the infrastructure and foundations necessary to scale the revenue side of our business. We work collaboratively with all teams across Shiftsmart to lead end-to-end projects, enhance customer relationships, deliver insightful analyses, and execute strategic initiatives. This role will focus on enhancing internal and external processes that drive our growth plan. You will analyze business decisions, manage reporting for internal and external customers, and provide continuous insights and recommendations for operational performance. Your contributions will be crucial in designing scalable business processes, launching new initiatives, and optimizing existing workflows. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to serve as a thought partner for data-driven strategic decision-making across the customer value chain. • Build and improve business processes to manage customer information like schedules, order data, and store details, aligned with our growth strategy. • Own analytics for various steps impacting the customer value chain, including shift inputs and partner performance metrics. • Lead analytics initiatives that support daily operations, developing data architecture and identifying opportunities to enhance shift ROI for our customers. What We’re Looking For: • Analytical Skills: You have 1-3+ years of experience in an analytical role (data analytics, business operations, consulting, investment banking), ideally within startups. • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in Excel and SQL, with the ability to combine quantitative data and qualitative insights to validate hypotheses. • Problem-Solving Attitude: You excel in navigating complex challenges, quickly adapting to new situations, and translating abstract ideas into concrete solutions. • Organizational Skills: You thrive in structured environments, prioritize ruthlessly, and bring clarity to ambiguity as second nature. • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information to empower decision-making.
