We’re Hiring! Our key client is hiring and looking to add an Material handler & Assembler to their team. Please check the description below and reach out to us for more details if you are interested. Pay Rate: • Assembler pays $18/Hour ($27/hour for overtime rendered on Fridays and Saturdays) • Material Handler pays $19.06/hr ($28.59/hour for overtime rendered on Fridays and Saturdays) Shifts: 5:45am - 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday but must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays if production has a need. Location: Fairburn, GA 30213 Assembler Responsibilities: • Perform basic, standardized and repetitive electronic assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies or subassemblies. • Ensure assemblies and components are properly handled and marked. • Utilize barcode scanner and small hand tools. Under direct supervision, perform basic and routine electro-mechanical assembly operations. • Use tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and other hand tools. • Read and understand manufacturing assembly, packaging, and quality documentation. • Give strong attention to detail. • Follow verbal and written instructions such as drawing, schematics and work instructions in completing highly repetitive tasks. Material Handler Responsibilities: • Responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials and products within a warehouse and production facility. • They handle a variety of tasks, including receiving, staging/binning, production support and shipping while utilizing manual tools and equipment from pallet jacks, rack pullers, to operating machinery like forklifts/walkie riders, loading and unloading shipments, picking orders while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. • Essentially, they ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout the warehouse to support overall operations, production and customer needs. Dress Code: • Fingernails should not exceed approximately 1/4” (6.35mm) beyond the tip of the finger • Metal-free undergarments must be worn at all times, (COMPLETE SPORTS BRA) • Both male and female hair that is longer than shoulder length must be put in Hair Net or put up as a bun or other means of containment to avoid unsafe conditions. Also, no hats, headwraps or scarves are allowed • Safety ESD Shoes only, No croc, slides, flip-flops, or open toe shoe per the Protective Footwear Policy. **If you leave the company within the first 30 days, you will be charged $100.00 for the cost of the shoes. • Mustaches and beards must be clean, well-trimmed and neat to avoid interfering with job performance and safety. Beards longer than 2” need to be contained in a beard net • Capri pants and Shorts: Cargo shorts, sports shorts and capris are NOT allowed. (inappropriate cutoffs including but not limited to cutoffs which are too short, frayed or of improper size are not allowed (no yoga pants, stretch pants, tights,or leggings) Pants must cover ankles- no bare skin shown. Excessively tight and loose clothing, is not permitted • Belts must be metal-free. • Skirts and Dresses are NOT allowed past the metal detectors • Shirts and Blouses: Cut Off sleeves are NOT allowed. Inappropriate images or wording: vulgarity, sexual, nudity, etc. is not allowed (no tank tops and spaghetti straps) • No facial or head tattoos allowed with the exception of eyebrow • Jewelry that does not pass through metal detectors are not permitted (with the exception of wedding rings or medical alerts). Long necklaces that interfere with the job and create an unsafe condition are not permitted. • Attendance Point System: ●Tardiness - 1 Point ● Tardiness, arrive more than 4 hours after start of shift - 3 Points ● Missed Punch - 2 Points ● Absence (call-out) - 2 Points ● Absence (NCNS) - 3 Points ● Early Out - 3 Points Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: • Ability to stand up to 10+ hours a day. • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds in a safe manner. • Ability to work first or second shift plus occasional weekends and Holidays • Ability to work indoors with varying temperature changes. • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position.
