Full Description

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO FOUNDER / CHIEF OF STAFF TRACK Strategic Right Hand to a Multi-Company Founder Snohomish County, WA · In-Person Preferred · Full-Time Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 Base + Performance Bonus Growth Path: Chief of Staff ────────────────────────────────────────── THIS IS A RARE SEAT You'll work directly alongside a founder running four companies — roofing, metal manufacturing, marketing & media, and personal coaching — at roughly $10M in combined revenue with a team of 15–20 and serious growth ahead. He's a high-energy visionary who generates ideas faster than most people can process them. Your job is to make sure those ideas become reality — not chaos. This isn't a traditional EA role. It isn't a project manager role. It's something closer to a co-pilot: the person who keeps the plane in the air while the founder is mapping where it's going next. You are not the visionary or final decision-maker — you are the force that brings clarity, structure, and execution to the founder's vision. You help inform decisions and drive execution — but major direction, strategy, and final calls remain with the founder. This role is not for someone looking to manage tasks. It's for someone who wants to own outcomes. If you've ever watched a brilliant entrepreneur spin their wheels and thought "I could fix that" — this role was built for you. ────────────────────────────────────────── WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO You take everything coming at the founder — decisions, ideas, requests, incoming information — and make it clear, organized, and actionable. You protect his time, his focus, and his energy so he stays in visionary mode, not reactive mode. Practically, that looks like: • Turning brain-dumps into structured plans with timelines, owners, and priorities • Building dashboards across all four companies so performance is visible at a glance • Running weekly clarity check-ins to keep goals the goal • Flagging trade-offs, not just problems — "Yes, we can do that — here's what it costs in time and money" • Holding the team accountable to metrics they've agreed to, so the founder doesn't have to chase • Identifying pain points and building AI-powered solutions to eliminate them • Protecting the calendar — deep work is sacred • Supporting travel and logistics with precision when needed You're not here to do menial tasks. You're here to build systems so menial tasks don't exist. ────────────────────────────────────────── THE AI THING IS REAL This founder wants to use AI to buy back time — and he wants you to lead that charge. You don't need to be a developer. But you need to be genuinely excited about learning new tools, testing automations, and figuring out how to make 10 hours of work take 2. If your eyes light up when you discover a better workflow, you'll thrive here. ────────────────────────────────────────── WHO YOU ARE If you need structure handed to you, this won't be a fit. If you build structure where none exists, you'll thrive. You're probably someone who: • Has supported a founder, executive, or entrepreneur closely — and loved it • Gets energized by building, not just maintaining • Is wired for precision and follow-through without being rigid • Reads leadership books for fun and finds psychology genuinely fascinating • Doesn't just say no — you say "here's what that costs and here's a better option" • Can hold the big picture and the small details at the same time • Thrives when things are complex, fast, and a little unpredictable • Wants a role you grow into, not just a job you clock out of • Cares more about the mission winning than being right The mindset we're looking for: • Confident — but not ego-driven • Structured — but flexible • Proactive — but not controlling • Loyal to the vision, not attached to your own ideas You ask yourself: "How do I make his vision work at the highest level?" Not: "Here's how I'd do it differently." If your instinct is to take over or run your own playbook, this won't be the right fit. Bonus if you have familiarity with EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System) or have worked in a Traction/Integrator-type environment. ────────────────────────────────────────── WHAT YOU'LL BRING • 5+ years supporting a founder, executive, or in an operations-adjacent role • Experience in fast-moving, growth-stage businesses • Strong written and verbal communication • Comfort building systems from scratch — not just maintaining ones handed to you • High emotional intelligence — you're comfortable offering perspective and identifying trade-offs, but you ultimately align with and execute the founder's decisions You don't need to know roofing or manufacturing. You need to be excited about learning a new world and building inside it. ────────────────────────────────────────── WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU • $100K–$120K base + performance bonus • A real growth path to Chief of Staff • Travel opportunities • A team that is personally and professionally growth-oriented • Work that actually matters and compounds over time • A founder who will invest in you the way he expects you to invest in the mission ────────────────────────────────────────── HOW TO APPLY — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY We review every application, and we've designed this process intentionally. There are two steps: STEP 1: SEND US A 2–3 MINUTE VIDEO Before anything else, we want to hear from you — not just read your resume. Record a short video (Loom, iPhone, Google Drive link, Dropbox link, whatever works) and answer these three questions: • What's the last book you read or thing you learned that actually changed how you operate? We're not looking for a title — we want to hear what stuck. • What AI tool are you currently using, and what problem does it solve for you? Be specific — we can tell the difference between someone who's living in these tools and someone who's heard of them. • Tell us something about you that wouldn't show up on a resume. Keep it real. We're not looking for a polished performance — we're looking for who you actually are. Message us your video link along via message on Indeed. Ensure we have access to view. STEP 2: ASSESSMENTS Candidates who move forward will complete two quick assessments — one to evaluate critical thinking and one to understand how you're wired. Both take under 30 minutes combined and help us make sure this is the right fit for both of us. We will send you the link once we have received your video. ────────────────────────────────────────── We're not looking for someone to fill a seat. We're looking for someone who will own one — and grow into something bigger. Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
