Shield HealthCare is looking for a Product Manager in our Valencia, CA corporate office. The Product Manager supports the research, development, implementation, and ongoing management of product lines, including assessment of market potential, competitive offerings, reimbursement considerations, profitability, and interdepartmental training of products. This role ensures timely and effective communication regarding product changes, recalls, discontinuations, supply chain issues, item add requests, formularies, cross references, and RFP-related product requirements across internal teams, customers, referral partners, physicians, health plans, and additional internal and external stakeholders. The Product Manager maintains accurate product data across business systems, which includes the parent organization and its families of businesses, to optimize formulary completeness and profitability, and resolves and documents product complaints in accordance with established organizational policies. This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage the item add process through support of accurate, strategic product setup in the item master by assessing product features and benefits, comparing new items to existing products, completing gross profit analysis, coordinating approvals or committee review, following up on conditionally approved items, maintaining required item master fields, and providing web attributes to IT. * Develop and maintain product formularies and related databases to support a complete product offering and optimize profitability. Coordinate across business units and internal partners, including IT, Purchasing, Item Master, and affiliated business teams, to ensure accurate item adds, product attributes, and ongoing database maintenance across systems. * Research and complete product cross references to support Customer Service and Purchasing inquiries, competitive pricing analyses, and RFP requirements. * Ensure timely and effective communication with internal teams, customers, referral partners, physicians, health plans, and other stakeholders regarding product changes, discontinuations, recalls, and supply chain issues. * Provide product specifications, coordinate product testing, and deliver product cross references and related product information needed for RFP submissions. * Manage the product complaint process by resolving issues and documenting product complaints promptly and effectively in accordance with established product complaint policies and procedures. * Partners with Sales, inventory teams, and fulfillment partners to build and maintain product sample kits on a scheduled basis. * Contribute to the research, development, and implementation of new product lines, including analysis of market potential, competitive landscape, product requirements, reimbursement considerations, return on investment, and interdepartmental training needs.  QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. * Minimum 3 years of product marketing experience required, preferably in a distribution environment. * Knowledge of a Home Health business, including understanding of Disposable Medical and Medicaid/ Medicare reimbursement preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel (Expert), PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams). * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  * Ability to effectively train internal stakeholders in product usage. * Skilled in fostering collaborative relationships across internal teams and with external partners. * Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present, train, and teach external and internal stakeholders. * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. * Strong organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to changing business needs, and meet critical deadlines  SALARY & BENEFITS: *  $70-85k annually * Medical, Dental, and Vision * 401(k) with Company Match  * Sick and Vacation Days  * Flexible Spending Account  * Life & Disability Insurance  * Education Assistance * Employee Referral Program Career-minded individuals will find our business challenging and our reputation for excellence just one of the rewards we have to offer.
