Full Stack Developer – Sherman Oil Company Job Summary Sherman Oil Company is looking for a Full Stack Developer to build real tools for a real energy company. This isn't a tech startup simulating problems—you'll have direct access to oil and gas operations, working alongside people who actually pull energy out of the ground. You'll develop applications that solve genuine challenges in production, logistics, field operations, and data management. Responsibilities • Build and maintain web applications and internal tools that support oil and gas operations • Develop a scalable product platform intended for commercial release to other energy companies • Design and develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces • Create and maintain robust back-end services and RESTful APIs • Manage database architecture, optimization, and data integrity • Deploy and manage applications using cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) • Implement security best practices including authentication and access control • Work directly with field and office personnel to understand operational needs • Translate real-world business problems into effective technical solutions • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance Qualifications • 3+ years of full stack web development experience • Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) • Solid back-end experience (Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python, or similar) • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows • Understanding of RESTful API design principles • Proficiency with AI development tools—you'll have access to Claude AI through the company, and we expect you to use it effectively to accelerate development and work efficiently • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and manage priorities Nice to Have • Experience in energy, industrial, or field-based industries • Background in SaaS or multi-tenant application architecture • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • Mobile-responsive design experience Pay: $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
