The Role We’re seeking an on-line and in-person consultative Sales Associate who thrives on promoting products and helping customers make confident purchase decisions. This is not cold calling—our customers are already interested. Your job is to: • Market and promote products: Post products on marketplaces such as Facebook, Craigslist, Offer-Up, Ebay and more to generate demand. • Discover customer needs: Ask the right questions to uncover pain points and priorities. • Build trust: Guide conversations, secure minor affirmations, and position products as the best solution. • Close with confidence: Leverage discovered needs to finalize the sale. • Engage online buyers: Manage listings, respond to inquiries, and convert interest into purchases on platforms like Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp. • Support the customer journey: Arrange pickups or deliveries and ensure a professional, positive buying experience. What You Bring • Proven success in direct-to-consumer, consultative sales (furniture, appliances, fitness, or similar). • Strong ability to ask probing questions and actively listen. • Experience guiding customers through the buying journey to a confident “yes.” • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Comfort working with online sales platforms (Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, etc.). • A reliable SUV/truck/trailer and ability to lift 75 lbs. • Flexible availability (including evenings/weekends).
