Summary: The Creative Event Proposal Designer will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling, tailored proposals that win business and showcase the unique capabilities of this award-winning destination management company. This individual will collaborate with sales, operations, and creative teams to develop innovative event and decor concepts, theme development, and transform client objectives into persuasive and visually engaging presentations that tell a story. Job Description: • Proposal Development in pages (similar to PowerPoint): Create customized, detail-oriented proposals for corporate events, meetings, and incentive programs, tailored to client goals, brand identity, and budget. • Creative Ideation: Conceptualize unique event ideas, themes, and experiences that align with client objectives and highlight local destination offerings. • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and account management teams to understand client needs, budgets, and expectations. • Research: Stay up-to-date on destination trends, venues, and local resources to incorporate into proposals. • Content Writing: Write persuasive and creative copy that clearly communicates the value and benefits of proposed event solutions. • Timeline Management: Coordinate with internal teams to meet tight proposal deadlines without compromising quality. • Follow-Up Support: Assist with revisions and clarifications for submitted proposals and participate in client presentations, as needed. • Once approved, prepare contracts and deposit invoices. • Maintain files in the shared server for reference. • Update client management system (salesforce) with notes for future projects. Skills & Qualifications • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a focus on creativity and attention to detail. • Must have 2 years of previous DMC (Destination Management) event design experience. • Strong understanding of destination management, event planning, or hospitality. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with MAC design tools • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills. • Become an expert on local venues, attractions, restaurants, and vendor services. • Excel or numbers experience is a plus • Math proficiency required • Creative thinking and execution • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure • Looking to grow within the event industry Benefits The benefit package includes 100% health insurance (no dental or vision currently), reimbursable mileage, and work expenses.
