The Sales Engineer manages the engineering stage of the sales process for water delivery systems, consulting with customers on technical matters. They are responsible for designing systems, delivering presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and experience in customer interface and fluid management. A bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years of related experience are preferred.

Full Description

Within Industrial water delivery, treatment, filtration and storage systems - Manages the engineering stage of the sales process. Consults with customers and internal management regarding technical matters concerning product application, system design specifications, expected performance and pricing. The successful Sales Engineer is well versed in a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen and results driven. TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: · Designing and quoting water delivery systems up to and including transfer, storage, filtration and treatment · Delivering presentations to clarify product features, benefits, and solutions · Identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during the sales process or after the system is installed and operational · Working with internal operations team(s) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction · Identifying and qualifying potential customers · Inputting customer interactions into company provided CRM · Providing product training · Acts as the technical point of contact for customers and operations · Generate, as required, department and job reports and present to senior management and members of the team as required · Research and development · Identify, analyze and resolve issues Minimum Qualifications: · Full time - remote based travel · Valid driver’s license and insurable · Pass pre-employment and ongoing drug / alcohol screening · Microsoft Office / Teams · Customer interface experience · Control, management and movement of fluid · Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in engineering · 2D and 3D design · 3+ years related fluid system design and sales experience Benefits and Compensation Package: Shalestone offers competitive benefits and compensation packages.
