The positions for the Sales Engineer role / fully remote About the Company: Our client one of the largest fabrication equipment distributors in North America The Role: This is a client-facing, field-based sales engineer role responsible for selling automated equipment, robotics, and fabrication machinery to OEMs and job shops. You’ll start with 6 months of intensive training and work closely with senior leadership (CEO & VP Sales) to learn the business. Once ramped (6–18 months), your success is tied directly to gross margin performance—with commissions a 3rd of what you bring in - – reps earning around 500K to $1M annually Client pays 100% medical benefits for its employees also an additional offering of Dental, Vision, 401K + match, PTO..etc What You’ll Do: • Own and grow a local sales territory • Hunt for new business: cold calling, referrals, on-site visits, lead chasing • Build strong client relationships and manage long, complex sales cycles • Self-manage planning, scheduling, and admin (often after hours/weekends) • Work autonomously while being part of a high-performance national team What They're Looking For: • Sales-minded, money-motivated individuals with grit and discipline • Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales preferred • Ability to hustle, work independently, and build client relationships • Strong mechanical aptitude or background in engineering/technical fields is a plus • Able to work 70+ hour weeks if needed to build a successful territory Why This Role is Unique: • Lucrative earning potential – reps earning around 500K to $1M annually • High autonomy with a respected, established brand • Supported by leadership and a national team, but with full territory ownership • Real career growth in a booming market, backed by private equity Interview Process: • Virtual interview with CEO • Assessment and follow-up • Virtual interview with the VP of Sales
