Electrical Instrumentation Inspector Contractor Job Description Sent by SGS North America Inc., this contract position requires on-site inspections, testing systems, and documenting non-conformities. Key responsibilities include verifying electrical component installation, witnessing continuity and insulation resistance tests, and creating detailed inspection reports. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in E&I processes, codes, and standards. A strong understanding of NEC/IEC, industrial experience in Oil & Gas/Powery Utility/Construction/Manufacturing, and proficiency in AEI, IAEI, CEI, or CompEx are preferred. Schedule is intermittent based on job requirements, and expenses will be reimbursed at cost for travel outside city of residence with prior client approval.
