Description: Title: Documentation/Lab Operations Associate Location: Seattle, WA, 98121 Job Duration: 6 months Contract The Research Associate Support Resource will manage and support research activities. Primary Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate records in accordance with GDP and support research associates and scientists • with recording experimental data in a "GMP-like" suite. • Manage and organize the lab including restocking and ordering supplies and equipment maintenance. • Operate tissue culture work in a process development lab. Minimum Requirements: • Maintain accurate records in accordance with GDP and support research associates and scientists with recording experimental data. • Basic knowledge and skills of aseptic cell culture operation. Preferred Experience: • GMP related skills such as document reviews and recording. Top 3-5 must have skillset/qualification requirements: • Recording in accordance with GDP (Good Document Practice) -more than 1 year • Technical experience handling cell lines. hiPSCs preferred. • Equipment maintenance. Years of experience: • 1-5years of experience Education minimum requirement • Bachelor’s degree • Any platform knowledge requirement • GDP (Good document practice) • Basic cell culture procedure, hiPSC preferred. • Anything else you need this person to have • Attention to details • Understand SOPs and execute the procedure appropriately. • Collaborating with the team members. • Careful confirmation in advance. Work hours and schedule: • 8:00-16:30 (if lunch break is 30 min), no evening, no overtime work are expected. • For the 1st 1-2 weeks, Tue-Sat for training. After the training, 5 days a week including both Saturday and Sunday, Fri-Tue or Thu-Mon, including holidays such as July 4th. • Onsite, parking is not free. How day a looks like: • Start room set up at around 8am, work on recording for tissue culture work as a verifier and/or some simple cell analysis using equipment in the "GMP-like" suite, and execute media change and passaging in the process development lab and finish it around 3-4pm. Then, clean up the room, do some equipment maintenance and stock consumables in the suites. No work during the EOY shut down periods.
