SFMC Home Lending is currently hiring for a Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the branch/team processes and role functions are executed optimally to provide the best loan experience possible to clients and referring partners. This position will manage team members in regard to staffing, training, performance appraisal, corrective action, policies and procedures, company products, compliance and compensation decisions, and ensure the branch operations are in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies Duties Include: · Managing the Contact to Contract to Closing systems · Working on long-range projects, analyzing and assisting in the development of policies, functions, procedures and manuals, and communicating updates as appropriate · Putting strong systems/processes in place to ensure HUD-1’s are reviewed quickly and accurately by closing, and coordinating with Loan Officers and Processors to achieve the goal to have closing documents out a minimum of three business days prior to closing · Serving as a liaison between Referral Partners, Loan Officers, Operations, Underwriting, Sales, Post Closing and Corporate to resolve issues and ensure loan packages are complete and in compliance with investor and federal guidelines · Responsibility for directing and overseeing the daily operations and workflow of assigned reports, including pipeline management, workload balancing, overall production, quality, resolving daily file issues, and providing detailed instructions · Maintaining and reviewing Processor statistics monthly and providing written feedback and necessary training · Conducting Operations staff meetings and filling in for the Branch Manager if needed · Other duties as assigned by leadership 3+ years of mortgage processing experience, including all areas of the loan process and process improvement Thorough knowledge of FHA, Conventional, VA and USDA product financing Previous management experience Bachelor’s Degree is preferred Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with various audiences Big-picture vision with the ability to simultaneously see the incremental steps necessary to achieve goals
