Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine front desk responsibilities with administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, personable, and proficient in managing multiple tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism, and with a sewing background. Duties • Greet visitors, clients, and vendors with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression. • Answer phone calls and messages. • Handle front desk operations including checking in guests, scheduling appointments, and maintaining visitor logs. • Perform marking and measuring on clients' garments. • Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization across all administrative tasks. • Utilize computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace for correspondence, reports, and scheduling. • Assist with office management duties such as inventory tracking, supply ordering, and maintaining cleanliness of common areas. • Support customer service efforts by responding to inquiries via phone or email, providing helpful information or directing to appropriate departments. • Manage calendar appointments and coordinate meetings for staff using calendar management tools. • Experience: • Proven office experience in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills. • Demonstrated clerical experience including data entry, filing, proofreading, and document management. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously. • Experience in garment sewing, alterations, or pattern making. • Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office applications. • Experience practicing effective phone etiquette. • Proficient in English, both written and spoken. • Knowledge of office management procedures including calendar management, appointment scheduling. • Previous experience as a receptionist. • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
