Assist with project setup, documentation, contract tracking, payment verification, and reporting under direction of project team members.
Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in construction or business management, located near Baltimore/DC, strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
Description: • Assist in setting up projects in client and/or company project management systems, including uploading and organizing required documentation. • Help update project status and key milestone dates under the direction of project team members. • Support in drafting, distributing, and tracking contracts, purchase orders, and change orders to subcontractors/suppliers. • Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the duration of projects. • Assist in verifying and processing payment documentation for contractors and vendors. • Support the collection, coordination, and submission of close-out materials required by project owners. • Participate in assembling and distributing reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Learn and practice maintaining confidentiality with sensitive or proprietary project information. Requirements: • Lives in the Baltimore or DC area and ability to work in a remote setting • In progress: 4-year degree in construction management, business management, or related field seeking project coordinator or project management positions post-graduation. • Strong ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the project team • Ability to prioritize and handle diverse workload • Willing to dive in, proactively ask for new things you can help with, desire to learn and ambition to excel • Strong attention to detail • Ability to tolerate ambiguity and work effectively within a diverse workplace • Strong organizational and time management skills • Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet, preferred.
