Position Summary: The Content Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of content handling, documentation, and processing on commercial and residential restoration projects. This role manages teams, ensures accurate documentation, audits reports, and provides daily updates for project files. The Content Inventory Manager works closely with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to ensure industry standards and company procedures are met at every stage. Key Responsibilities: • Direct and manage all content inventory activities on assigned projects. • Lead and supervise content teams, ensuring accurate documentation of items within affected structures. • Oversee the movement, cleaning, deodorization, storage, and return of customer contents. • Track and document salvageable vs. non-salvageable items in accordance with company and industry standards. • Audit daily reports and submit accurate updates to the project management team. • Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, OSHA safety requirements, and SERVPRO protocols. • Support insurance claims by providing thorough documentation, photos, and itemized reports. • Collaborate with restoration and construction teams to ensure a seamless project flow. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, train, and motivate teams. • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail. • Ability to analyze reports, identify gaps, and improve processes. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities preferred but not required. • Problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in cleaning/restoration or logistics/inventory management preferred. • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training certification (or willingness to obtain). Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift at least 50lbs regularly; up to 100lbs with assistance. • Comfortable working on ladders, at ceiling heights, and in confined spaces. • Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movements. • Ability to work with/around cleaning products and chemicals. Working Conditions: • Fast-paced, high-pressure work environment with 8–10 hour shifts. • Approximately 60% of time spent conducting on-site walkthroughs and evaluations. • Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state as needed. • On-call availability may be required during large-scale events.
