This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a portfolio of accounts while also driving revenue growth through business development initiatives. As a key Company representative, the Business Operations Manager ensures that all operational and service quality standards are met while fostering strong client relationships. This role requires managing the full sales life cycle, from prospecting to client acquisition, as well as administering daily operations, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring compliance with client specifications. The position is accountable for implementing and maintaining Service by Medallions quality inspection program, ensuring that all sites meet or exceed client expectations. This includes inviting clients to participate in random quality assessments at least once per month per site and providing QA reports at the end of each month. By integrating strategic planning, operational oversight, and business development efforts, this role plays a critical part in enhancing customer satisfaction, optimizing service delivery, and driving company growth. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: • Oversee and ensure the successful execution of daily operational activities across all assigned accounts, maintaining service excellence and efficiency. • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including networking, prospecting, proposal generation, submission, presentation, negotiation, closing, and post-transition service support. • Actively promote the Company’s multi-service platform to prospective customers within a defined geographic region. • Conduct cold calls and leverage social media, networking sites, and industry associations to generate and develop leads. • Negotiate client pricing and contracts to maximize customer value while aligning with company objectives. • Prepare and present proposals and pricing models, attending RFP walkthroughs as necessary. • Develop and sustain productive business relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term engagement. • Forecast sales revenue and establish targeted goals in alignment with business objectives. • Collaborate with Service Delivery Teams to ensure a seamless transition for newly acquired customers. • Partner with HR and other internal teams to fulfill contractual obligations and address any service concerns. • Identify and implement best practices to enhance the client experience and optimize operational efficiency. • Assist with strategic planning and process improvements to drive business growth and service excellence. • Serve as the day-to-day contact for client operational needs and ensure all customer requests are executed properly. • Ensure proper supplies are distributed to the appropriate locations and maintain inventory control. • Ensure adequate staffing levels in collaboration with the Service Delivery Executive. • Execute payroll activities, including signing off on time cards, approving overtime, and submitting reports. • Conduct weekly closet audits and ensure all equipment is operational, tagging out broken equipment as needed. • Distribute and collect facility reports from day porters and address necessary repairs with the client. • Ensure buildings are maintained to the highest standards through regular walkthroughs. • Conduct safety and operational training for team members and maintain training records. • Issue disciplinary action and training as needed to maintain operational excellence. • Report facility-related malfunctions or concerns to the client and follow up for resolution. • Work closely with the Service Delivery Executive to execute operational tasks efficiently. • Other duties as assigned to support business growth and operational excellence. Qualifications: • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with an independent, entrepreneurial mindset. • Excellent negotiation skills with experience in securing and managing contracts and service agreements. • Agile and adaptable to industry changes, capable of driving innovation and operational improvements. • Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, and client engagement skills. • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve company goals. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to effectively train, lead, and manage staff across multiple locations. Job Requirements: • 7-10 years of sales experience within a target-driven, commercial services environment. • Knowledge or experience in service industry and facility operation. • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Sales and Marketing certifications are a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (NetSuite), and account management software. • Must have own transportation and a valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record. • Experience in janitorial and maintenance services is highly desirable. • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. • Must be able to work in varying temperature environments, both indoors and outdoors. • Background check required.
