This role ensures operational efficiency, safety compliance, and accurate tracking of resources. The coordinator plays a key role in supporting field operations, mentoring team members, and collaborating with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize processes. Key Responsibilities: • Receiving & Inspection: Supervise the intake and quality check of tools, equipment, and materials. • Inventory Flow Management: Ensure proper usage, conservation, and tracking of non-inventory items. • Storage Oversight: Maintain secure, clean, and organized storage areas. • Access Control: Manage access to tools and equipment to prevent loss or misuse. • Process Optimization: Develop and implement best practices for inventory handling and logistics. • Team Leadership: Train and mentor general labor and skilled workers in inventory procedures. • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and track operational effectiveness. • Collaboration: Coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to ensure timely and accurate resource availability. • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and quality standards across all logistics activities. • Customer Service: Uphold high standards of service and responsiveness to internal clients. Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • Experience: Minimum 1 year in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management. • Languages: Advanced English required. Basic Spanish is a plus. Skills: • Technical: Proficiency in Excel and inventory databases. Familiarity with QR/barcode systems. Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent safety standards. • Interpersonal: Strong communication and coordination skills. Leadership and mentoring capabilities. Problem-solving and critical thinking.
