Full Description

At SERVE Hospitality Group, we’re more than smoothies—we’re about hospitality, connection, and community. With 30+ Tropical Smoothie Café locations and a bold growth pipeline, we’re building a culture-driven, high-performance business that blends speed, discipline, and operational excellence. Backed by strong capital and a commitment to growth, we’re scaling a nationally recognized brand with purpose and energy. Role Summary This role owns execution across the business. It combines senior-level finance and accounting leadership with full Integrator authority to run the day-to-day operating system, drive accountability, and turn the Visionary’s ideas into traction. As the CEO’s financial thought partner, this person acts as the operational glue across Accounting, HR, Admin, and Operations. It’s a rare opportunity for a senior finance and operations leader to step into an executive seat, help build enterprise value, and escape the corporate rat race. Core Responsibilities Enterprise Leadership and EOS Integration • Serve as the EOS Integrator, running weekly L10 meetings and ensuring Rocks, scorecards, and IDS drive traction • Lead, manage, and hold accountable leaders across Finance, HR, Admin, Office, and Operations. • Create clarity, simplify direction, and ensure follow-through across the leadership team. • Translate the Visionary’s ideas into executable priorities, filters, and decisions. • Filter opportunities and bring forward only the highest ROI initiatives. Financial Leadership and Strategy • Own financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, proformas, and cash flow. • Act as the CEO’s primary financial thought partner. • Drive EBITDA improvement and maximize enterprise value. • Lead strategic planning around growth, acquisitions, and capital allocation. • Evaluate and challenge assumptions using data-driven insights. Accounting and Systems Oversight • Lead and direct the accounting team and ensure timely, accurate closes. • Implement and optimize financial systems, software, and processes. • Evaluate and rationalize the tech stack and offshore resources to improve efficiency. • Eliminate unnecessary costs across vendors, software, and staffing. Operations and Cross-Functional Oversight • Maintain strong office presence to support culture and accountability. • Partner with Operations leadership to drive efficient, results-focused meetings. • Participate in TSC committee meetings and cascade key changes to Ops leadership. • Improve internal operating resources and training programs to strengthen execution. Real Estate, Legal, and Risk • Review real estate deals and filter for only CEO-worthy opportunities. • Review leases and coordinate with legal counsel. • Oversee payroll accuracy, benefits, insurance, and compliance audits. • Review health insurance, business insurance, and risk mitigation strategies. Marketing, People, and Incentives • Implement store-level marketing and community engagement initiatives. • Partner with HR to develop leadership training and career paths. • Design and oversee incentive plans and bonus structures for office and offshore teams. What Success Looks Like • The business operates smoothly without the CEO’s daily involvement. • Leadership meetings drive decisions, and accountability - not just discussion. • Financial clarity informs smarter operational choices. • Costs are controlled without slowing growth. • EBITDA and enterprise values show measurable improvement. • The Visionary feels supported and confident in execution. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance. • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with Restaurant365 accounting software is highly preferred. • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software. • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities. Compensation & Benefits $180,000 base + $40,000 bonus, health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and yes—free smoothies! Ready to Join Our Team?
