Position: IT Program Director (Onsite) Location: Columbia, MD Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned IT Program Director to lead complex IT programs and strategic client engagements. The ideal candidate will drive business growth through strong stakeholder relationships, oversee end-to-end solution delivery, proactively resolve organizational and project-level issues, and ensure successful execution of initiatives within scope, time, and budget. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement & Relationship Management: • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive client engagement. • Understand client needs and align IT solutions to meet strategic business goals. • Program & Project Leadership • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT programs across multiple domains. • Ensure program objectives are aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations. • Monitor program performance, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes. People Management & Issue Resolution: • Lead cross-functional teams and foster a high-performance culture. • Proactively identify and resolve personnel issues that impact project execution or team morale. • Mentor and develop project managers, team leads, and other staff. Financial & Budget Oversight: • Manage program budgets, financial forecasts, and cost optimization efforts. • Ensure adherence to financial targets, including profitability and ROI. • Address and resolve budgetary issues in collaboration with finance and delivery teams. Solution Management & Delivery: • Guide the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable and secure IT solutions. • Work with enterprise architects, technical leads, and business analysts to align solution architecture with client needs. • Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards. Strategic Planning & Bid Support: • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, program proposals, and strategic bids. • Assist sales and business development teams in technical planning and effort estimation. • Support contract negotiations and scope definition. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred. • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT program management, client delivery, and team leadership. • Proven success in managing complex, multi-million-dollar IT programs. • Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions, architecture, and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. • Financial acumen with experience in managing large-scale budgets and forecasts. • Experience in pre-sales, proposal development, and client presentations is a plus. • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is preferred. lPsEuRdRec
