This position will be on a dynamic team, supporting Direct Reporting Program Manager for the Maritime Industrial Base (DRPM MIB). Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact on our military defense and safety of our sailors. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer an active DoD Secret security clearance. This is a Hybrid opportunity in the National Capital Regional/Washington, DC. Serco-NA is seeking a motivated individual to provide help to the Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) Advance Manufacturing (AM) Team. Our Advance Manufacturing Team leverages existing technology to include artificial intelligence/machine learning, robotics, Industry 4.0, advance Non-destructive (NDT) testing, lasers, and a myriad of other technologies to apply withing the Maritime Industrial Base. We are seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Program Manager who will work directly with the MIB Advance Manufacture director to provide support to various teams building solutions for our customers. You will serve as key integrator and coordinator within Advanced Manufacturing DRPM MIB portfolio. The role provides day-to-day execution support across multiple technology lines of effort including Additive Manufacturing, Non-Destructive Testing, Industry 4.0, Digital and Deployed Advanced Manufacturing. This position may be filled remotely/hybrid as you work out of your home or travel to engage with stakeholders. In this role, you will: Perform supply chain risk analysis with support from senior members of the team. Prepare professional presentations for senior leaders. Maintain situational awareness across all advanced manufacturing initiatives. Track cross-program dependencies, identifying integration risks, and elevating issues for leadership decisions. Coordinate across stakeholders to ensure actions are aligned with mission priorities and timelines. Support execution of acquisition and technology transition pathways. Manage taskers, deadlines, suspense items and stakeholders follow through across portfolio. Prepare read-aheads and coordinate material for flag and SES engagements, program reviews and cross-Navy working groups. Assist in developing program strategies, implementation plans and performance dashboards. Work with the MIB team, which is spread across the United States focused on workforce development/marketing, supply chain/sustainment, and technology developments. Provide input to Report to Congress regarding MIB spend goals and associated return on investment. Assist in drafting information papers in response to Congressional inquiries. Travel as required to carry out the duties above. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: An Active DoD Secret clearance. A Master’s degree in business, data analytics, supply-chain management, economics, or a related field. 7+ years experience in naval engineering/joint fleet maintenance. Prior U.S. Navy officer experience with demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and program oversight in support of mission objectives. A strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with proven experience leading teams and instructing others in complex environments. Ability to communicate effectively technical information to non-technical stakeholders is required. Proven skills in managing projects and coordinating across functional teams, demonstrated through U.S. Navy officer roles leading cross-functional efforts in high-stakes, high-visibility environments. To be comfortable working in a remote environment and collaborating via digital tools (Teams, SharePoint, or similar). Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience in defense acquisition, logistics, or supply-chain analysis is preferred. Experience preparing professional reports or presentations for Navy echelon one, or equivalent, and higher headquarters stakeholders is strongly preferred. Experience/knowledge of the maritime industrial base is strongly preferred. A customer-oriented team player focused on mission who is self-motivated, driven and can work independently and remotely.
