Serco is seeking a qualified Acquisition Management Specialist to support Team Submarine's acquisition of submarines. The role involves collaborating with various MIL and industry partners to identify and evaluate vendors, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with DoD acquisition requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and strong communication skills, emphasizing the importance of fostering a collaborative environment and understanding of relevant technical challenges. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree • 15 years of progressive experience in defense industry • Experience with Huntington Ingalls or Electric boat related to submarine construction • Understanding of the MIB mission • Demonstrated understanding of technical transition efforts • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently in a high-tempo environment • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Secret Clearance (approximately 25% travel) Benefits • Competitive compensation • Career development opportunities • Inclusive environment
