Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Roofing Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and expanding our presence in the roofing industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales skills, a strategic mindset for territory management, and expertise in home improvement sales. As a key member of our sales force, you will leverage marketing strategies, CRM software, and technical product knowledge to generate leads and close sales effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to business development efforts while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking within assigned territories. • Manage existing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. • Conduct product demos and technical sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting roofing solutions' features and benefits. • Develop and execute territory management strategies to maximize market coverage and sales growth. • Utilize CRM software such as Proline to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement. • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business development initiatives. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally. • Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue opportunities. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings in the roofing sector. Qualifications • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or roofing industry preferred. • Strong management skills with experience in territory management and lead generation strategies. • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for account management and analysis. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. • Ability to conduct product demos effectively and present technical information clearly. • Demonstrated success in direct sales, retail sales, or inside sales environments is advantageous. • Strong analytical skills for market analysis, opportunity assessment, and performance tracking. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and achieving targets.
