Job Description and Duties At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. Sentral seeks an Accounts Payable & Treasury Manager candidate with an accounting, customer-service, and reporting skill set. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to be a part of a unique and rapidly growing start-up. To be successful in this role, candidate will be extremely organized, have a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a track record of performance. General Supervise two AP Specialists, handling accounts payable and treasury for the communities and corporate entities Ensure adequate SOPs in place for all accounts payable processes Work with internal and external parties on related AP and Treasury tasks Accounts Payable Manage all accounts payable processes, systems, and compliance Ensure compliance for all vendors, including insurance and legal documents Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices Work with the rest of the organization to ensure timely payment of invoices and timely communications with vendors Responsible for timely payment of recurring invoices, including debt and other owner obligations Ensure correct intercompany entries related to accounts payable Leads the administration of the BirchStreet PO and pay system Treasury Oversight for 170+ bank accounts via Bank of America and the CashPro system Handles all treasury-related functions, including set up of wire transfers, ACHs, transfers of cash to external parties and between the internal bank accounts Handles processing of Positive Pay for all accounts Manages relationship with all Banks that Sentral banks with including JPM, BOA, M&T, Wells Fargo etc. Assists management in Cash management of all accounts as it intercedes with accounts payables and funding needs Responsible for setting up and removing any new bank accounts and services, including the completion of bank-required paperwork and user access Ensures adequate risk mitigation related to treasury functions Leverages Bank of America CashPro system and other such platforms in other banks to automate processes and services Reviews cash needs and communicates as appropriate. Prepares or provides information related to cash forecasting Accountable for all treasury processes and procedures Oversight of 1099 process Skills and Experience Extensive experience with processing payables in Yardi & setting up vendors in Vendor Cafe Experience being part of and real estate accounting team Experience in Accounts Payable and Treasury processes Supervisory experience Demonstrated ability to learn new software programs Accounting or finance degree, or relevant experience HQ Team Perks + Benefits Health & Wellness: We offer multiple medical, dental, and vision health plan options that begin the first month after your start date!
