City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Patient Services Coordinator - Remote in Virginia Beach, VA! Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours) Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F Location: Hybrid position in Virginia Beach, VA. May include visits to members in the emergency department or IP hospital settings in the VA Beach area, and the rest of the time will be working from home. Overview This position will be responsible for assisting members with locating new providers if current providers move out of network, close or have to end services for some other reason. The position will also help call members who have received service denials and help link them with the recommended services by the doctor. They will also be responsible for administrative tasks as assigned.
