Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. This position is responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, as well as building financial models to support strategic initiatives. The analyst will partner closely with the department leaders to deliver insights that improve operational efficiency and drive business performance. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Strong communication skills are essential, as the analyst will regularly present findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, professional services environment. * Preference will be given to candidates who are located and/or can work Pacific Standard Time (8am - 5pm PST). * Job Responsibilities: * Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in coordination with department heads and leadership * Conduct monthly budget variance analysis, investigating variances, and communicating results to leadership * Research and implement financial planning and budgeting software * Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports and KPI dashboards for executive review * Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to improve business performance and drive strategic decisions * Support ad hoc financial analysis projects and operational efficiency initiatives * Assist with executive presentations and firmwide communication of financial performance * Collaborate cross-departmentally on projects aimed to align operations with overall financial strategy * Maintain a high level of data integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment in all financial reporting activities Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required * 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, modeling/analysis, presentations, and business partnership required * Experience working in a public accounting firm or professional services environment preferred * Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA with a finance concentration preferred * Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and how they apply to financial analysis * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in financial systems and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Sage Intacct, PowerPoint) preferred. * Deep understanding of financial concepts, analysis, and budgeting practices. * Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights. * Strong ability to work with large data sets, with the ability to clearly organize and present information. * Proactive and resourceful in identifying issues and driving improvements. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Strong written and oral communication skills Compensation: This role offers a competitive base salary along with a comprehensive benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S.-based positions are determined by geographic location and fall into one of three pay zones, which reflect the cost of labor in that area. The anticipated salary ranges for this position are outlined below and are subject to change: * $55,020 - $104,304 When determining compensation, we consider a variety of factors such as a candidate’s professional experience, skills, and qualifications.
