In this role you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks. We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Analyst, Investments to join our dynamic corporate finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth strategy by performing in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and market research for potential acquisitions, developments, and capital market transactions. This role offers significant exposure to senior management and an opportunity to shape the future of our real estate portfolio Job Description Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000 Responsibilities: Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV) for potential senior living acquisitions, ground-up developments, and dispositions. Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risk and return profiles under various market conditions. Analyze property-level operating statements and financial performance metrics. Due Diligence & Underwriting: Lead the due diligence process for investment opportunities, including reviewing third-party reports (e.g., market studies, appraisals, environmental), legal documents, and financial data. Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee and senior leadership. Evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and demographics specific to the senior living sector to inform underwriting assumptions. Asset Management Support: Assist in the preparation of annual business plans and budgets for existing assets. Monitor the financial performance of portfolio assets against underwriting projections. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions related to the existing portfolio. Market Research & Strategy: Conduct ongoing research on the senior living industry, real estate capital markets, and economic factors influencing the sector. Identify and evaluate potential new markets for investment and development. Capital Markets & Transactions: Support capital raising efforts, including preparing materials for potential debt and equity partners. Assist in structuring and negotiating transaction terms. Qualifications Level of Formal Education: Bachelor’s Area of Study: Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Years of Experience: 3+ Type of Experience: Real estate investment banking, private equity, investment analysis, or corporate finance, with demonstrable experience in financial modeling and due diligence. Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with all others. Skills and Abilities: Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling; strong proficiency in PowerPoint. Analytical Skills and Intellectual Curiosity: Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities with a meticulous attention to detail. A curious mind always ready to learn and willing to guide and teach others. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels within our and our partners’ organizations. Team Mentality: Ability and desire to work in a team environment where everyone shares the common goal of providing the best care to our residents by acquiring and managing the best real estate in each market. Travel: Ability to travel for acquisition due diligence, asset management and conferences. Estimated travel: 25%. Other/Preferred: Direct experience analyzing or underwriting senior living, healthcare, multifamily or hospitality real estate assets. Experience with real estate specific software (e.g., Yardi).
