Full Description

Position Title: Automation QA Engineer Location: Remote (operates on EST hours) Position Status: Contract Position Description: Our client is looking for Automation QA Engineer candidates to design and code automated tests to validate new features/enhancements using Typescript and Playwright. This position aligns with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities. Responsibilities: • Create Test Plans for features • Understand functional and non-functional requirements • Design and code automated tests to validate new features/enhancements • Troubleshoot production issues • Create/update automated tests to validate functional and non-functional requirements and security of features • Create integration tests • Work with the Infrastructure team to build testing environments with necessary tools and frameworks • Work with Release Management team to configure test pipelines for automated test execution • Develop tools and employ best practices that will increase the efficiency of your team • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements team meetings • Report defects and track defect resolutions • Follow agile development practices • Maintain test artifacts and repositories such as test plans, test case documents, automated test cases, execution metrics, etc. Required Education | Experience: • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience • 3-4 years of Test Automation Experience Required Skills: • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript • Experience with UI Frameworks such as MS Playwright • Experience with Object-Oriented programming • Competency with Visual Studio 2015 and above • Proficiency with Git and Postman • Experience with Agile and Azure DevOps About Seneca Resources: At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
