At Semperis, our mission is to be a Force for Good. Starting with being a great place to work. We believe that when people feel valued, supported, and empowered, they do their best work. That’s why we focus on creating an employee experience rooted in purpose, growth, and balance. Semperis has been recognized as one of America’s Fastest-Growing Cybersecurity Companies by the Inc. 5000, a DUNS 100 Top Startup to Work For, and a multi-year Inc. Best Workplace awardee. What we are looking for: Semperis is seeking a Product Marketing Manager. A technical product marketing expert with experience in identity security and recovery technology, particularly in the Microsoft Active Directory/ Entra ID ecosystem, and the ability to create compelling visual and written narratives for technical decision makers in IT and security teams and leaders, including CISOs, CIOs, IT leaders, and SOC leaders. What you will be doing: Reporting to the AVP of Product Marketing, the product marketing manager will drive the development of messaging materials that convey the unique value of our products and services to prospects and customers About the Role: Take charge of planning and developing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and marketing narratives that resonate with our prospects in the identity security space. Acquire and maintain hands-on technical proficiency with installing and using our products to gain first-hand insight into how we solve our customers’ identity security and recovery problems. Research and identify messaging gaps and opportunities to clearly convey our competitive differentiators and value proposition in all content formats—web pages, videos, infographics, podcasts, slide decks, stories, and more. Work closely with our cross-departmental competitive team to create polished competitive messaging for our web site, slide decks, internal sales guide, battlecards, and other assets. Develop technically accurate and compelling content in all formats for our customers, prospects, partners, and sellers. Work closely with our product, engineering, and research teams to translate our comprehensive identity threat detection and response (ITDR) advantage into a cohesive message that articulates our value, benefits, and ability to solve organizations’ identity security and recovery problems. Partner closely with sales leaders, sales enablement team, and sellers to provide the technical expertise, training, content, and confidence to successfully sell. Partner with the product team to research competitors, identify opportunities to clearly articulate our position in the identity security arena, and create buying guidance materials for prospects. Become an expert in the problems we solve, who uses our products, and how they evaluate and purchase solutions for securing and recovering identity systems from cyberattacks. About You: 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, or technical program management for enterprise software companies in identity security or cybersecurity fields; specific experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID is ideal. No required degree, although a background in computer technology/engineering and/or business/marketing is ideal. Action-oriented project manager who breaks through barriers to get projects completed on time while meeting quality expectations. Technical acumen and deep understanding of (or hands-on experience in) the identity security space. Experience researching and developing polished, accurate competitive positioning materials that equip our sales team to win in an increasingly competitive market. Experience developing content for technical professionals down to the feature level. Passion for mastering new products and understanding the needs and pain points of our users through interviews, surveys, conversations with our customer success managers and technical delivery teams, and other sources. Proactive, results-focused owner of your mission, with the willingness to relentlessly pursue what you need from cross-departmental team members to achieve the goal. Experience in translating technical competitive documentation into useful guidance for prospects looking for solutions to their problems, including developing complementary positioning documents. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write and produce polished, technically accurate, and effective copy for marketing materials including website product pages, blogs, technical educational content, data sheets, technical FAQs, product videos, product communications to customers and partners, slide decks, and sales messaging.
