Full Description

A Process Piping Designer needed to develop 3D piping and equipment layout models for high-tech industrial manufacturing facilities, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role requires strong 3D modeling expertise (CADWorx or Revit + Navisworks), deep knowledge of process/mechanical piping systems, and the ability to coordinate complex designs in a collaborative environment. Qualifications: • Motivated, self-starting Process Piping Designer with minimum 10 years’ experience in layout of process and mechanical equipment and associated piping design. • Ideal candidate will have recent experience and be an advanced user of CADWorx *OR* Revit 3D design software and Navisworks. • Must be well organized with strong communication skills. • Ideal candidate will have experience with process mechanical piping systems, industrial waste and high purity water systems a plus. • Microelectronics (Semiconductor) experience a plus. • Experience with pipe installation details and pipe supports, a plus. Job Responsibilities: • Create piping models and equipment layout models in 3D software under the direction of Lead Designers. • Coordinate with other piping designers and other disciplines working in the models. Work with a team of designers, drafters and engineers to develop 3D piping plans. • Will be working with an engineering design team on high-tech industrial manufacturing facility projects. • Coordinate design with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) to ensure success of project. • While hybrid candidates are preferred (2 day/week in-office schedule: Portland, OR / Phoenix, AZ / Pittsburgh, PA / Boise, ID), we will readily consider remote candidates who fit the job description. Pay Range: $55/hr. - $67/hr.
