We are seeking a highly skilled Project Factory Manager to join our team at a prominent company specializing in the critical power solutions industry. The Factory Project Manager role will be responsible for setting up a manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas, United States. The Factory Project Manager will be responsible for the on time, on budget and safe delivery of the manufacturing facility, ensuring that the project is executed with highest standards and good engineering practices. Main responsibilities: · Organize site visits and due diligence through site inspections for a feasibility assessment of setting up the facility · Finalize the conceptual layouts to assess the layout parameters from an operations perspective in coordination with the company experts · Project resource planning and management through hired resources · Work with sourcing and supply chain teams to evaluate and finalize vendors for the projects and for the manufacturing · Reviewing the material requirement with all stakeholders for setting up and launching the facility and tracking till receipt and implementation. · Ensure a snag-free handover to Facilities Team · Ensure budget and timeline adherence and safe execution at site - with no budget overruns and with a targeted Zero LTI · Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques · Establish project and core teams, coordinate activities of multiple disciplines, ensure the efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff · Responsible for ensuring the health, safety & environmental standards are fully considered on project. · Required qualifications: · Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field. · Fluent in English. · 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Management · Demonstrated expertise in panel construction, with a solid foundation in electronic components and assembly. · Past experiences of working in the USA Physical requirements: · The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. · The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, talk and hear.
