Trading Analyst Hybrid (3 days in office) - Greater Philadelphia area About the Role: A leading global investment firm is seeking a Trading Analyst to support the development of advanced trading analytics, technology, and processes that help reduce transaction costs and enhance execution quality. This team partners closely with global trading desks across asset classes and manages significant trading volumes annually. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative, data‑driven group that shapes trading strategy and market interaction for one of the industry's largest investment platforms. What You'll Do: • Research, evaluate, and help implement cutting‑edge trading technologies, analytics, and new data sources. • Conduct transaction cost analysis (TCA), improving and enhancing existing models and workflows. • Solve complex problems across data, infrastructure, and prototype tools used in high‑impact trading processes. • Provide quant‑driven reporting and insights to support key trading initiatives. • Maintain a deep understanding of market structure, microstructure, and execution dynamics. • Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and internal partners to influence trading strategy. • Participate in high‑visibility projects with opportunities for increased responsibility and leadership. What We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., math, engineering, statistics, computer science, finance). • 2+ years of relevant work experience; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus. • Strong foundation in cross‑asset investment concepts. • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑moving environment. • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with attention to detail.
