Region: Northern California and Nevada Segway E-Bike Division Factory Sales Representative Under the general direction of the US Sales Director and the focused direction of the Regional Sales Manager, the factory sales representative will manage and develop a new retail dealer base for the launch of e-bikes and select premium e-scooter models in a designated regional sales territory. The factory sales representative will be a true ambassador of the Segway brand, driving brand awareness and implementing the sales strategic plan in all efforts to grow a retailer network. This position will be responsible for on strategic assortment model placement, account management, and an emphasis on achieving long-term revenue growth and profitability. Core Responsibilities: • Attain and exceed sales goals by planning and driving regional sales initiatives to achieve goals by month, quarter, and annual periods. • Develop regional dealer base by establishing new retailer relationships by traveling throughout the sales region, presenting new products and programs, and identifying the most viable opportunities for mutual business growth • To align sales goals and initiatives with the respective Regional Sales Manager • Develop a direct line of communication with all internal departments, from sales management, customer service, technical and warranty support, finance, and marketing teams. • Maintain accurate and timely reporting for the region, including forecasting and sales metrics • Follow up closely with accounts to support and manage inventories, order processes, sell-in and sell-through, and provide expert advice • Present and communicate new product launches via presentations and demo experience • Provide knowledgeable tech and service support to retail staff via clinics and other forms of product and tech support • Problem solving and managing potential conflicts. • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to make qualitative assessments of performance, current issues, and anticipated market trends • Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, collaborate, and develop effective responses to upper management. Ideal Candidate: • Knowledgeable and passionate, or trainable, on E-Bikes and E-mobility products and technologies. Power sports knowledge is a plus. • Customer-focused ability to build and expand relationships • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Strong ability to forecast and understand market analysis with sales data • Ability to collaborate and cross-function among multiple departments • Adaptable and quick to learn in a fast-moving environment • Ideally, 5 years of minimum retail account management experience • Experience with CRM, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Ability to travel 50% and own a vehicle • Ability to lift objects more than 60 lbs. Position is full-time with a 40+ hour work week. Longer hours, evenings, or some weekends may be necessary, as needed
