About Little Seeds of Joy Little Seeds of Joy offers beautiful Waldorf-inspired toys, handmade treasures crafted from 100% natural materials, Waldorf homeschool & art supplies, curated books and games that spark imagination and wonder, plus organic baked goods made to order. What We Need We have product photos, a Wix website with Square payments, and a vision. We need someone to bring our Instagram to life and manage our online presence. Your Responsibilities: Instagram Management (Primary Focus): • Set up Instagram Business account (bio, highlights, profile optimization) • Edit and enhance product photos we provide (lighting, cropping, filters) • Create 3 Instagram posts per week (grid posts with captions) • Post 3-5 Instagram Stories per week • Write engaging captions aligned with Waldorf/natural toy philosophy • Develop and use hashtag strategy for South Bay mom audience • Respond to comments and DMs within 24 hours • Daily engagement with South Bay mom accounts and potential customers (15 min/day) • Create Instagram Shopping integration Content Creation: • Design graphics and templates in Canva • Edit photos to be Instagram-ready (bright, clean, professional) • Plan content calendar 1-2 weeks ahead • Mix of product features, educational posts, behind-the-scenes, seasonal content • Eventually create content for enrichment classes and summer camps Website Support: • Upload products to existing Wix site using provided photos • Write or polish product descriptions • Ensure Instagram links properly to Wix shop • Update site as needed for new products/promotions What You'll Work With We provide: • All product photos (you just edit/enhance them) • Wix Premium website with Square payments (already set up) • Brand guidelines and direction • Product information and pricing • Feedback and approvals You provide: • Canva account (free version is fine) • Photo editing skills using mobile apps (Lightroom, Snapseed, etc.) • Instagram scheduling tool of your choice (Later, Planoly, Meta Business Suite) • Creativity and consistency! Ideal Candidate Must Have: • Experience managing Instagram Business accounts • Photo editing skills (mobile apps perfectly fine - Lightroom, Snapseed, VSCO) • Strong writing skills for captions and product descriptions • Proficiency with Canva • Understanding of Instagram algorithm, hashtags, Stories, engagement tactics • Reliable and consistent (this is ongoing weekly work) • Self-motivated and organized Nice to Have: • Interest in Waldorf/Montessori education • Parent or experience with children's products • Familiarity with South Bay area (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach) • Experience with Wix or similar website platforms • Can create simple Reels/videos Bonus Points: • You're a mom who loves natural toys and holistic education • You have your own small business/side hustle experience • You understand sustainable living and conscious parenting Schedule Flexible remote work: • 5-8 hours per week • Can batch content creation (2-3 hours once/week) • Daily engagement check-ins (15 min/day for DMs/comments) • Work on your own schedule as long as posting is consistent Start Date: ASAP Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 8.0 per week Work Location: Remote
