About the Role The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for promoting Copiktra in a fair and balanced manner consistent Secura Bio’s policies. The KAM will promote Copiktra (and any other approved drugs) in a manner consistent with approved indications to targeted customers including Medical Oncologists, Hematologists and Nurses. The KAM will be responsible for improving customer awareness and on-label sales of Copiktra within their assigned territory. The KAM will appropriately engage cross-functional partners, including Market Development Managers and the Market Access team, as well as Medical Science Liaisons, to effectively meet customer needs and to ensure customer questions are appropriately addressed. Employment Type Full-Time Reports To Senior Director, Field Sales and Market Development Key Responsibilities Educate appropriate Health Care Providers on the on-label use of Copiktra in a fair and balanced manner, delivering clinical, efficacy and safety messaging using company-approved promotional materials to target physicians. Develop and implement territory business plans, aligned with overall business plan and regularly review with managers progress against plan to ensure appropriate strategic, tactical components and call prioritization to meet business goals. Achieve on-label sales growth consistent with business plan in compliance with Secura Bio policies. Monitor operating costs and effectively manage territory budget. Identify key practice decision-makers. Conduct promotional presentations, informational in-services, and educational programs to appropriate targeted customers. Support commercial presence at all appropriate key medical congresses in territory. Overnight travel within territory, to conferences, training and sales meetings will be required. Engage with Medical Science Liaison and/or another designated contact in Medical Affairs for appropriate follow-up on customer questions. Comply with all Secura Bio policies and applicable laws. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field, Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or related discipline) preferred Minimum 8 years of successful pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales experience Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets Experience calling on Medical Oncologists, Hematologists, and/or oncology practices Experience launching new products or promoting products in competitive markets Ability to understand, retain, and communicate complex clinical, efficacy, and safety data Strong grasp of oncology/hematology disease states and treatment paradigms Capability to engage in scientific discussions with highly trained medical professionals Strategic territory planning and business plan development experience Strong analytical skills to assess territory opportunities and track performance metrics Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations (FDA, PhRMA Code, OIG guidelines) Commitment to ethical selling practices and promoting products within approved indications Excellent presentation and public speaking skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing) Salary $175,000 - $223,000
