Position Summary North Seattle College is looking to hire a student administrative intern in the Workforce Education Department. Salary for this position is $21.30 per hour. Application is open until filled, first review of materials will begin March 9 th . This position is open to current students at Seattle Central College, North Seattle College, and South Seattle College. Must be enrolled in courses by the start of the internship. Students enrolled in program areas such as business and marketing are highly encouraged to apply. Position Summary Supports the North Seattle College Workforce Education office with support and assistance to students through technology/application help, outreach materials, customer services, events, and contributing to a safe environment. This role will report to the Director of Workforce Education. This position is part-time, working up to 19 hours per week. Hybrid: 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday. Fridays are remote. Schedules are configured to accommodate student class schedules. What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience) This position is open to current students at Seattle Central College, North Seattle College, and South Seattle College. Students enrolled in program areas such as business and marketing are highly encouraged to apply. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Customer service skills, such as greeting visitors, providing student support or collaborating with staff and across departments. • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and collaborate with a team. • Proactive problem-solving skills, with ability to identify potential issues early and coordinate with executive leadership to develop effective solutions. • Comfort with technology or willingness to learn new platforms such as Starfish and ctclink • Experience with Canva or similar publisher applications • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite • Experience in an administrative support role with responsibility for calendar and email communication.
