Looking for a job that looks great on a resume while offering flexible hours that fits with your schedule and great pay? Look no further than Seaton Athletics. Seaton Athletics is a community-based organization that has been running a variety of after school enrichment programs in elementary schools in the Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, and Royal Oak school districts for 10+ years. These classes include floor hockey, basketball, and dodgeball. These positions are especially beneficial to those interested in a sports or teaching related field, though not necessary. While knowledge of certain sports is preferred, it is not necessary as we will provide any and all training. What are the Requirements? • You must be local to the area. As mentioned, we are a community-based organization that works in elementary schools out of the Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, and Royal Oak school districts. You don’t have to live in these communities, but if your commute is more than 30 minutes, you’re probably too far away. • You must either be a HS Senior or older to instruct independently. This program is ideal for HS students, local college students looking for employment or someone looking for a job with part-time hours which won’t interfere with studies/other commitments. • You must be able to pass a background check and be fingerprinted. For the safety of our students, all of our instructors are background checked before they appear in a classroom. Seaton Athletics reimburses for all background checks and fingerprinting. • You must be responsible, punctual and comfortable/good with children How much will I make? • Independent instructors will make $20 an hour (which translates to $30 per each class). When will I work? • Our classes are after the elementary school day Monday through Friday lasting for 1.5 hours and falling in the 3:30pm-5:10pm time range. You can work as many or as few days that your schedule allows. Class session last for 5 weeks and meet the same day each week with sessions going on the entire school year.
