Full Description

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry. By catering to both fans and rightsholders, we’re powering a new, open entertainment ecosystem where fans have effortless access to experiences, and teams, venues, and shows have seamless access to their audiences. Because everyone should expect more from ticketing. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (open to varying levels of experience) to join SeatGeek’s Product team to help shape and execute our product strategy and roadmap. SeatGeek is a product-centric organization that prides itself on beating industry competitors through a superior user experience (think: not Ticketmaster). Our product culture is defined by our high quality bar, a “ship early and often” mindset, and a transparent and autonomous environment. What you’ll do Lead the evolution of a historically “keep-the-lights-on” function into a strategic, innovation-oriented payments organization that consistently identifies opportunities for differentiation and long-term value Define the vision for the next evolution of payments tooling at SeatGeek — including B2B2C capabilities that power our clients and the fans they serve Work closely with compliance, legal, risk, engineering, and business partners to design systems that meet their needs, dependencies and priorities - without compromising on customer experience Lead coordination with external payments partners, ensuring smooth execution across features, reliability, and client commitment Proactively communicate updates on deliverables and outcomes to stakeholders, and be an ambassador for your product area to the product team and broader organization What you have 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class platform solutions for efficient development and operations A track record of taking initiative — you don’t wait for permission to start, and you’re comfortable making bold calls when the data (or the opportunity) demands it The willingness to call something a failure when it is, paired with the analytical sharpness to understand why it happened and the decisiveness to chart the path forward A creative, industry-savvy mindset with a strong pulse on the payments landscape and emerging trends The ability to break down complex technical systems into crisp, business-friendly explanations — ideally short enough to fit in a tweet Experience navigating and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives across engineering, compliance, legal, risk, and operations Our stack Product Roadmapping: ProductBoard Task Management: Jira Experimentation: Eppo Dashboarding: Mixpanel, Looker, & Hex Code versioning: Gitlab Event Stream: mParticle Primary FE Languages: React (web), Kotlin (android), Swift (iOS) Scheduling/Orchestration: Airflow ETL: Fivetran, Python and dbt Data Warehouse: Redshift Perks Equity stake Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely A WFH stipend to support your home office setup Unlimited PTO Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave 401(k) matching program Student loan support resources Health, vision, dental, and life insurance Up to $25k towards family building and reproductive health services Gender-affirming care support program $500 per year for wellness expenses Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music The salary range for this role is $130,000-$188,000 USD. This role is also equity eligible. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
