About the Role We’re looking for an IT Support & Systems Generalist to serve as the primary IT resource for the company. This is a hands-on role covering technical support, systems and network administration, SaaS management, vendor coordination, and IT documentation. Responsibilities • Provide help desk support for 10–15 employees through Jira Service Management • Administer Google Workspace, Chrome Enterprise, ChromeOS, and Windows devices • Manage UniFi networking, including switches, APs, gateways, VLANs, and remote sites • Administer 3CX, LenelS2, Slack, Front, and other SaaS platforms • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, devices, badges, and phone extensions • Create and maintain IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base resources • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers • Conduct an initial infrastructure audit and implement approved improvements • Support future IT security initiatives, including MFA, device encryption, and audit logging Requirements: Must-have: • 3–6 years of IT support, systems administration, or related experience • Google Workspace and Chrome Enterprise administration • ChromeOS and Windows support • Small-business networking experience (UniFi or equivalent) • VoIP administration experience • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills • Comfortable working independently as the primary IT resource Nice-to-have: • 3CX or LenelS2 experience • Jira Service Management administration • PowerShell, Python, or Apps Script • AWS familiarity • Construction or facilities industry experience First 90 Days • Take ownership of the help desk • Complete the infrastructure audit and present recommendations • Create the top 10 IT runbooks • Own onboarding and offboarding end to end Time Zone: EST preferred; CST acceptable After-Hours Coverage: Not required Pay: $88,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): • Tell us about a time you were the only IT person at a company (or the main point of contact). What was the hardest part about handling everything solo, and how did you deal with it? • How much hands-on experience do you have administering Google Workspace and managing a fleet of ChromeOS devices with Chrome Enterprise? • Have you set up or managed a UniFi network end to end (switches, APs, gateways, VLANs)? If not UniFi specifically, what other networking platform have you used in a similar context? • This role involves building documentation and runbooks from scratch for an IT department that currently has almost nothing documented.
