Full Description

Senior Associate - Financial Reporting, Alternative Credit New Senior / Supervisor level opening within the Credit vertical of a global Investment Management firm. This is a back-office financial operations role which will be responsible for processing of distributions, reconciliations for cash activity, oversight of transactions within blocker portfolios, as well as partnership with the Investment Operations team for project-based work. This is a great role for somebody out of Public Accounting with financial services experience and technical expertise, who is looking to transition into a corporate role with a top Asset Management firm. Compensation / Benefits: • Above market base pay • + strong bonus • + profit sharing plan • + hybrid work environment • + global company • + opportunities for growth and professional development • + great benefits and perks Responsibilities: • Supervision and review of work as prepared by the offshore team • Responsible for transactions within blocker portfolio • Review and analysis of complex legal agreements as they pertain to the funds • Direct coordination and presentations for the Credit leadership team • Cross-departmental business partnering, including reporting for investor relations, portfolio management, tax, and legal teams • Responsible for reconciliations and preparation of distributions • Process improvement, involvement in systems integrations / upgrades • Ad hoc projects as they arise Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or advanced degree • 3+ years of experience within Investment Operations, or Public Accounting • Private Debit / Private Credit experience, including experience with blockers highly preferred • Big 4 experience is highly preferred, CPA is a plus • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Interest in growth and professional development
