SCT seeks an experienced Military and Family Readiness Instructors / Trainers Manager (MFRT) as key personnel on a proposal for training coordination, curriculum development, and instructor support for National Guard Military and Family Readiness Staff, consisting of approximately 54 State Family Program Directors, 549 Soldier & Family Readiness Specialists (SFRSs), and 214 Military and Family Readiness staff (Air National Guard (ANG)). Military and Family Readiness Instructors / Trainers Managers (MFRTs) are responsible for delivering, facilitating, and managing Military and Family Readiness training for National Guard staff across virtual and in-person environments. MFRTs execute training delivery, support curriculum implementation, conduct assessments, facilitate regional synchronization meetings, and ensure training quality. Core Duties • Deliver engaging classroom and online instruction for Military and Family Readiness training topics. • Facilitate orientation, sustainment, and professional development training modules as defined in the approved training plan. • Conduct quarterly regional synchronization meetings with Military and Family Readiness staff and document outcomes. • Apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD), ADDIE model, and training evaluation methodologies in course delivery. • Assess student knowledge, provide feedback, and support training evaluations and reporting requirements. • Support execution of Joint Orientation and Annual Professional Development Seminars, including facilitation of required training hours. • Obtain certification to instruct and administer at least one approved psychometric assessment within 180 days of hire. • Utilize Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and approved software authoring tools to support training delivery. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in a field of instructional design, curriculum and instruction, education (with a focus on curriculum and instruction), or equivalent field and at least 3 years of experience OR • 10 years of education and experience in adult instruction to include the application of ISD, execution of job task analyses, design and development of training curricula, course materials, training evaluation systems and instruments, and instructing/facilitating classroom training for adult learners • Certification to instruct and administer at least one psychometric test (e.g., Four Lenses, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), and Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation – Behavior (FIRO-B). • MBTI, TKI, FIRO-B) certification within 180 days of hire (required) • Application of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluation (ADDIE) • Expert analytical, communication, and research skills for Job task analysis • Successful track record of creating and delivering engaging course materials for both classroom and online instruction. • Training evaluation systems and instruments, such as Kirkpatrick's approach. • Facilitating classroom training for adult learners. Professional instructional presence with National Guard personnel. • Effective communication with Government and contractor leadership. • Judgment appropriate to delivering training in regulated, policy-driven environments. Ability to manage regional training activities and maintain training quality standards. • Experience specifically related to military and family readiness programs. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Power Point, Excel, Word. • Working knowledge of software authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate, Presenter or Moodle) • Must possess a valid Driver's License and must be able to drive a rental car • Favorable Tier 1 background investigation (NACI), with CAC eligibility if required (PWS Personnel Security). • US Citizen • Ability to travel up to 10 weeks annually Location • Remote or SCT facility. • SCT seeks 1 Trainer for each of the following regions: • Region 1: CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT • Region 2: NJ, NY, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands • Region 3: DE, MD, PA, VA, WV, D.C. • Region 4: AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN • Region 5: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI • Region 6: AR, LA, NM, OK, TX • Region 7: IA, KS, MO, NE • Region 8: CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, WY • Region 9: AZ, CA, HI, NV, Guam, American Samoa, CNMI, Pacific Islands • Region 10: AK, ID, OR, WA • Travel is expected based upon duty descriptions and mission requirements. The Government estimates travel for each contractor employee will be required to support 9-12 training events annually. Total travel time is not expected to exceed 10 weeks per contractor employee annually.
