Role: Network Resource Cloud Platform Integration GKE Rate: $75/hour all inclusive Location: United States, Remote 1 Position JD We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud / Platform Engineer with strong experience in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and hybrid and multi-cloud networking. The ideal candidate will design, build, and operate scalable, secure cloud platforms while collaborating closely with application, security, and network teams. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters for production and non-production environments Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure Architect and support hybrid and multi-cloud networking solutions, including connectivity between on-premises, GCP, and other cloud providers Implement network security controls such as VPCs, subnets, routing, firewall rules, and load balancing Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability of cloud platforms Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native solutions Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud and Kubernetes environments Support cloud governance, cost optimization, and security best practices Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including: VPC design Routing and DNS Load balancing Firewalls and network security Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments Strongly Preferred Qualifications Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification Experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices Experience with container security, monitoring, and logging solutions
