Project Manager – Cold Storage & Food & Beverage Processing Location: 70% Remote + 30% Travel to Jobsite We are partnering with a general contractor to hire a Project Manager to support and lead Cold Storage and Food & Beverage Processing construction projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, partnering closely with Superintendents and senior leadership to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget. This is a great opportunity for a PM who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working on complex, technically driven projects within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities • Manage projects through all phases of construction, from preconstruction planning through final closeout. • Support and enforce jobsite safety and quality standards, participating in site walks, inspections, and audits. • Coordinate daily project activities, resolve field issues, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and client expectations. • Assist with estimating, takeoffs, bid reviews, and subcontractor procurement; support contract negotiations and buyout. • Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasts, change orders, vendor invoices, and owner billings. • Assist with permitting and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, insurance requirements, and contract terms. • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, pay applications, and closeout materials. • Collaborate with Superintendents and project teams to support manpower planning, sequencing, and schedule execution. • Participate in OAC, subcontractor, and internal project meetings to maintain alignment and momentum. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and subcontractors. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related), or equivalent experience. • 5-8+ years of project management experience in Cold Storage or Food & Beverage Processing • Experience supporting or managing large-scale projects from preconstruction through completion. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with construction software and productivity tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Office). • Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and quality execution. • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
