We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Mechanic & Facilities Coordinator to maintain our equipment fleet and manage the daily upkeep of our yard and materials. This role is essential to keeping our landscaping, hardscape, and outdoor lighting operations running efficiently. Most repairs will be completed at our yard, though occasional on-site job repairs may be required. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, organized, and takes a proactive approach to maintenance. Fleet includes: 20-25 vehicles, 15-25 bobcats/ skid steers, 100-150 small engine pieces of equipment. Must have all your own tools and be responsible. Responsibilities Include: • Repair and maintain small engines (mowers, trimmers, blowers, compact equipment) • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime • Respond to equipment issues at job sites when necessary • Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard • Track fleet maintenance and repairs using fleet management software • Manage yard upkeep and organization • Restock and manage materials including stone, pavers, rock, sand, and soil Qualifications: • Experience with small engine repair required • Basic automotive and trailer maintenance experience required • Diesel engine experience preferred • Background in landscaping, hardscape, or construction a plus • Comfortable using mobile apps or software for maintenance tracking • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Valid driver’s license required • Able to perform physical work and work outdoors year-round What We Offer: • Competitive pay based on experience • Steady, year-round employment • Well-maintained equipment and yard • Supportive team environment Guarantees: • Full-time hours • Consistent work • Long-term position for the right candidate Certification Reimbursement: • No Pay Frequency: • Weekly Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Application Question(s): • Do you have most of your own tools? • This job also requires some onesite work at our jobsite's occasionally.
