We are a small family-owned mail-order and eBay business currently seeking a reliable and motivated Office Assistant. This role involves administrative tasks and general office duties to support fulfilling orders for a dedicated customer base. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering the phone, taking orders and messages, reading and writing emails, filing, entering and updating computer records, general office maintenance, and custodial upkeep. Consequently, fluency in English with excellent grammar and pronunciation is required, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. We use custom software and processes for order entry, tracking, and shipping. Training is provided, but the ability to quickly learn on the job is also necessary. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and ready to work in a fast-paced but casual environment. Prior customer service experience is a strong plus. Managerial experience is a bonus and may lead to additional responsibilities. We are a smoke-free workplace.
